Integrations
Mentoring that fits the tools your organisation already runs.
Meetings, calendars, notifications and sign-in. Below is exactly what MentoraHQ connects to — and, just as usefully, what it does not. If a row is missing from this page, we do not do it.
Meeting platforms
A mentoring session needs a link that works. These are created by MentoraHQ when a session is booked, not pasted in by hand.
Mentoring Platform with Microsoft Teams Integration
Teams meetings are created for a booked session and the joining link travels with the invitation. OAuth is platform-owned, so your IT team does not register an app before you can start.
Mentoring Software with Zoom Integration
Zoom meetings are created per session against a connected brand or personal account. Editing or cancelling the session in MentoraHQ updates the Zoom meeting rather than leaving an orphan.
Google Meet
A Meet space is created for the session through the connected Google account. Mentors and mentees can connect their own account, or the brand can nominate one as the fallback host.
Mentoring platform with calendar integration
Two-way, per participant. The point is not the invitation — it is that a slot nobody can attend never gets offered in the first place.
Google Calendar
Sessions are written to the organiser's calendar and busy times are read back, so availability offered to a mentee reflects what is actually free. Tentative events can count as busy or not, your choice.
Microsoft Outlook Calendar
The same two-way behaviour through a connected Microsoft account, including free/busy lookup when proposing mutual slots across time zones.
Messaging
Mentoring Platform with Slack Integration
MentoraHQ sends programme notifications into Slack — new match confirmed, session booked, nudge for a stalled pair. To be precise about scope: this is outbound notification through a Slack app, not a two-way workspace integration, and participants do not hold a mentoring conversation inside Slack.
Every programme notification is available by email, branded to your organisation, with per-event controls so a busy programme does not become a mailbox problem.
Mentoring software with SSO
Single sign-on configured by your own administrator, per portal. Read the second card before you put us on a shortlist.
Supported
OAuth / OIDC
Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Google Workspace as identity providers, with just-in-time provisioning, domain-based discovery and per-portal control over where SSO applies.
Not supported today
SAML 2.0
SAML is not implemented. If you authenticate with Okta, Ping or another SAML-only system, MentoraHQ cannot serve your identity estate today and we have not committed to a date. We would rather lose the shortlist than the trust.
What “Google Workspace integration” means here
The phrase is used loosely across this category, so here is the whole of our Google surface — three permissions, nothing else.
- Calendar events
- Create, update and cancel the sessions MentoraHQ books, and read free/busy so proposed slots are real.
- Google Meet spaces
- Create a meeting space for a booked session.
- Email address
- Identify the connected account, and act as the identity provider for single sign-on.
That is the complete list. We do not read Gmail, touch Drive, post to Google Chat, or sync users from the Workspace Directory or Admin SDK. If your requirement is directory-based user provisioning, we import rosters by CSV or API instead — which works with any HR system that can export a file or call an API, including the ones nobody writes a connector for.
Rosters and HR systems
There is no packaged HRIS connector. Rosters import by CSV or API, which covers any HR system that can export a file or call an API — including ones with no named connector anywhere. What it is not is a packaged Workday or SuccessFactors integration, and vendors who list those by name are offering something we do not. We publish that as a gap against our competitors rather than leaving you to discover it in procurement.
Bring us your integration requirement.
Tell us the identity provider, the meeting platform and the HR system. We will tell you on the call whether we serve it — including when the answer is no.
